                                       Downstairs Facilities

This room has been designed to give the children a feel for the classroom setting. They also colour, draw and make crafts. The English and Arabic teachers use wall charts to educate the children on the alphabets and numbers using visual stimulation. 

Arts & Crafts Room

The Arts & Crafts room allows children to develop their creativity and thinking skills. They draw, colour, make paper crafts, use play dough and above all have lots of fun! Their work is preserved in a folder and every Thursday they are allowed to take it home for their parents to view. This folder must be returned at the begining of the week, therefore we kindly remind you to make sure that the folder is returned to the nursery the following Sunday. The folder is used as part of our final assessment on your child’s development. If the folder is not brought then the work will be kept at the nursery. Morning assembley and circle time is also done in this area every morning.

 Play corners

There are three Play Corners. These are the Dress Up Corner, Tea Time Corner, and Free Play Corner. The Dress Up Corner helps children role play and develop their imagination and creativity skills. The Tea Time corner helps them to learn to interact with each other and with grown-ups. It also helps improve etiquette skills like saying please and thank you. The Free play corner helps with freedom of expression and further developing of imagination. It also helps with thinking skills and hand eye co-ordination.  

 Dining Room

The Dining Room is where all the children sit down to eat their meals. Each child sits with a plate, cup and spoon in front of them, They sit in groups according to their age. The very small ones are seated on the high chairs.  The staff sit with the children while they eat and provide a good family role model for eating together by encouraging them to develop good eating skills and table manners.
